Please answer the following questions pertaining to the yacht you chartered and the crew.
Rating of Yacht & Crew: 5
Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
The yacht as a whole was well maintained and very clean. The sleeping quarters were small which was expected but very comfortable. The crew made our bed every day. The bathrooms were kept well maintained and very clean. The kitchen area, dining area were also very neat and clean at all times.
    Was the yacht well ventilated?
The yacht was well ventilated. We preferred to sleep with the windows and hatch open at night so that we could feel the sea breeze and listen to the waves, but on occasion had to close them due to rain. The cabin air conditioner worked very well and likewise kept our room comfortable when we couldn’t open the hatches.
Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
Lina and Per were the most amazing crew we could have hoped for. While maintaining a degree of professionalism, we felt as though we developed a good friendship with them over the course of the week on board. While always looking out for our safety, their recommendations for activities on sea and land were spot on based on our personality, wants and wishes.
Was the food good and well presented?
Lina, while too humble, is a fantastic chef! She provided gourmet meals with American, European, Swedish, asian and mediterranean influences. The presentation was always superb and we had plenty of wine to pair with the food. My favorite meals were the ones we shared with them.
    Cruising Area

Did you like the area you chartered in?
We chartered the British Virgin Islands on the Miss Summer during the last week of January which was wonderful. The temperatures were in the upper 70’s and low 80’s and the skies were sunny for the most part interrupted by occasional very brief showers. The seas were reasonably calm and easy to manage. BVI offers many small islands to sail between and visit making each stop a separate adventure.
Would you like to share your itinerary or a vacation highlight with us?
After flying into Tortola in the late afternoon, we were picked up by our crew in Trellis Bay which is walking distance from the airport. We sailed to nearby Guana Island where we anchored for the evening. The next morning, we snorkeled around nearby Monkey Point and then set sail for Little Jost Van Dyke where we had lunch and did a small hike to a natural spa. That night we went inland again to Foxxy’s for drinks after dinner. The next day, we sailed to the other side of Jost Van Dyke and spent the day on White Bay Beach enjoying the sand and sun, drinking “Pain Killers” from the Soggy Dollar. The next day, we sailed to Norman Island where we enjoyed a couples Massage near Pirates Bite. We then snorkeled around “the caves” on Normal Island before having lunch and then sailing to a small cove in Peters Island to anchor for the night. The next day, we sailed to the North Sound of Virgin Gorda, where we floated and swam outside Prickly Pear Island before having dinner at Bitter End Yacht Club that evening. The next day, we sailed the open ocean to Anegada where we drove around the island on a Mote viewing the resident flamingos, donkeys and goats before stopping at the Anegada Beach Club on the north end of the island for lunch and some beach time. That evening we ate grilled lobster at the Wonky Dog. We sailed back to Virgin Gorda the following day where we hiked “The Baths” and explored the caves. Unfortunately, the seas were too rough to swim at The Baths that day. That night, we had our final gourmet meal with our crew onboard Miss Summer before being dropped off early the next morning at the Airport on Trellis Bay.
