A Crewed yacht vacation wouldn’t be complete without a complement of water toys, often including fishing gear, stand up paddleboards, kayaks, wakeboards, and much more.
For those who are scuba certified or want to learn, many Crewed yachts can offer you amazing scuba diving adventures exploring shipwrecks and reefs.
A Crewed yacht combines a luxury vacation with adventure and the privacy of your own waterfront resort.
There are four different types of yachts to choose from: sailing catamarans, sailing monohulls, power catamarans and motor yachts. The most popular type is the sailing catamaran because of its stability during sailing or motoring between islands. They also have nice sized cabins and a wide deck for extra space. There is wide range of sailing catamarans available suitable for every budget from standard to ultimate luxury. The sailing monohull will be for you if you want a more invigorating sailing experience because they will lean to the side more while sailing. If you are not at all interested in doing any of the sailing and are looking for a little more luxury then the power catamarans or motor yachts will be good choices.
The cost of crewed charters vary depending on the location, size of vessel, the age of the vessel, the experience level of the crew and the number of people on board.
However, here are typical average price ranges for one week:
The recommended crew gratuity is 15% – 20% of the charter fee.

One of the enticing aspects of a yacht vacation is that you determine your level of activity and what you want to do. Do you want to chill out all day reading a book, spend all day out on the water playing with your water toys, or doing something in between? There will be plenty of fun for everyone! Each yacht is fitted out differently, but on most yachts, you will find items for basic waters sports including snorkeling equipment, stand up paddle boards or kayaks, and floats. Some yachts will come with even more water toys for you to choose from like scuba diving gear, knee boarding, water-skiing, kite boarding and fishing equipment. Some yachts may also have floating islands, beach games, board games and movies so there is always something different to do. You will also find that each different destination will also have their own onshore activities for you to enjoy such as hiking, beach combing, beach bars and exploring unique natural and historical attractions.
