Sunsail/moorings was very attentive to our needs. We had a lazy jack malfunction two hours into our trip. We returned to port and they did the repair and got us going within a very short tinme.

Broken jammer and broken oven. I called about the broken over on day 1. They told me a chase boat would be out to fix it. No one ever came through the charter. We had items that needed to be baked that we had to give away since no oven.

See above for oven. Rest of equipment was fine. No cork screw.

The yacht was clean. Everything was in good working condition, with the exception of the generator and and port A/C system.

Yes. I am not sure why we had bone china for dinner plates. The knives need to be sharpened.

I have chartered with Sunsail in the past. This was the first time I chartered a sailing catamaran as opposed to a mono-hull. The catamaran had much more room and was more comfortable.
The Sunsail folks were a great help with the paperwork and organizing our transportation back to the airport for out departure.

Again - miscommunication and poor information. We were told that the skipper would not come aboard until Saturday morning, and that someone at the base would give our boat briefing on Friday afternoon upon our arrival. Turns out, unknown to us, the skipper had been waiting for us most of the afternoon on Friday (see previous comments). The skipper then gave us a partial boat briefing. No staff involved. I had to figure out how to get the propane flowing for the stove (and a few other things) so that we could eat aboard Friday night.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yes clean, but NO to good working condition: 1. The batteries on this boat were basically dead. They could not hold a charge overnight. Skipper had to run the generator most of the evenings so that we could have enough power until the following day. 2. Except for the two short docklines that were thrown aboard from the dock, WE HAD NO LINES ABOARD. As a sailor myself, I know what a danger it is to sail without sufficient lines aboard that can be used for all kinds of situations. 3. The air conditioning thermostats did not function. The AC was either full blast or off.

Lack of attention to correct information, lack of attention to important yacht attributes such as fresh batteries and plenty of lines will prevent me from using VI sailing and SunSail again. I have had much better experience with the so called "second tier" charter companies. On the positive side, our skipper (vincent) was great throughout the whole trip.

yes, the front desk staff were nice.

pretty good, but in a rushed manner. Did not understand how the water maker worked and no manual on our second boat.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Clean yes, working condition no. The Belatrix's dingy winch has wires disconnected...took at least an hour to get the electrician over to fix it. The generator destroyed itself on Belatrix the first time we used it. We spent hours diagnosing the issues with Tech Support (when they finally snawered) Because we were out of the service area, we had to go thru 3 nights without Air Conditioning. We had to swap out boats to the Event Horizon III. Even Horizon had electrical issues which I fixed. There was no Internet Router which I had to figure out by talking to Technical Support and taking a ceiling panel down.

with 20 knot winds, yes. Where we used the AC, it took hours to cool down

having a checklist to know what to expect then checking in would be nice. There is one for checking out.
Technical Support is difficult to get someone to answer. When they do, it is quite hard to understand them. One lady from the Customer Support line was VERY good about calling back and reaching out to tech support to get an idea of timelines.
Tech Support and Customer Service do NOT have any voicemail...very frustrating when you are in and out of cell coverage.
