Shared Charter: Silhouette Dream

A shared, aka “Cabin Charter”, is an excellent way to enjoy a sailing vacation in the Seychelles on a fully crewed yacht charter without the cost of renting the entire yacht.


This 10-night / 11-day itinerary includes Silhouette, the largest of the granite islands in the Seychelles. Silhouette Dream cruise starts at St. Anne Marine Park and an excursion to Cocos Island. Explore La Digue and Cousin, then move on to Baie St. Anne, Curieuse, and St. Pierre before getting a taste of the famous Praslin. Cruise through the rarely visited Anse Major to Silhouette. Depart for Beauvallon’s Eden Island Marina, where you’ll finish off your 11 day vacation with shopping, dinner, and relaxation.

Typical Itinerary

Day 1: (Mahé – St. Anne Marine Park)
Guests welcome and boarding at 1:00 pm. Settle on board then departure to anchor for the night at Saint Anne Marine Park.

Day 2: (St. Anne Marine Park – Cocos Island – La Digue)
Visit of the Saint Anne Marine Park islands, a beautiful spot for snorkeling. After lunch cruise to Cocos Island which is made of large rocks with strange regular stripes carved by the sea. Cocos Island forms a beautiful sight with a great harmony of shapes and colors. Under the sea, the vision is equally attractive with thousands of fishes and unforgettable snorkeling. Anchor in front of the picturesque harbour of La Digue.

Day 3: (La Digue)
Rent a bike at La Digue and visit this quiet and beautiful island. With its tracks winding under tall palm trees, houses with roofs of palm leaves, small coprah factories, fine white sandy beaches and large polished rocks, La Digue might be the most beautiful island in the Seychelles. No cars, only bicycles or carts drawn by oxen. Horse rides are also possible. Anchor in La Digue harbour.

Day 4: (La Digue – Cousin – Baie St. Anne, Praslin)
Visit Cousin Island. Since 1968, the island has been a nature reserve and bird sanctuary with rare species and some giant tortoises. Lunch onboard and spend the afternoon in Praslin. Visit to the Vallée de Mai, a valley under UNESCO protection. A walk in the Vallée is enchanting. The path wanders in the near obscurity created by the enormous palm leaves of “Cocos de mer”. The trunks are 40 meters high and sway gently in the breeze, making a strange rustling sound as they rub against each other. Anchor in Baie St. Anne.

Day 5: (Baie St. Anne – Grande Soeur – Curieuse or Anse Petite Cour, Praslin)
Travel to Grande Soeur. Barbecue on the beach, one of the most beautiful in Seychelles. A 40 min walk to discover the island, water sports, and relaxation. Anchor in Curieuse or Anse Petite Cour for the night.

Day 6: (Curieuse – Saint Pierre – Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio, Praslin)
Travel to Curieuse. This island is part of the Marine National Park, more than a hundred tortoises live here. After lunch, travel to Saint Pierre islet, a mass of rounded rocks crowned with a clump of tall palms swaying gently in the wind: typical and superb scenery of Seychelles photographed on countless occasions and printed a million times in tourism magazines! Excellent spot for snorkeling with magnificent underwater scenery. Anchor for the night in Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio, Praslin.

Day 7: (Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio, Praslin – Mahé)
Snorkeling, swimming and water sport activities on the beautiful beaches of Praslin. Navigation towards Mahé in the afternoon. Overnight at Anse Major.

Day 8: (Anse Major, Mahé – Silhouette)
Time for water sports activities at this idyllic place Anse Major at the Northwestern coast of Mahé, a very rarely visited and unspoilt place, accessible only for walkers and by boat. Departure to Silhouette after lunch. Overnight at Silhouette.

Day 9: (Silhouette – Beauvallon)
Silhouette is situated at 30 km northwest of Mahé. The hills are covered by tropical trees which are reminiscent of Mahé. The coconut trees at the beach side evoke Praslin and its incomparable beaches with its granite rock formations andgive the impression of being in La Digue. A trail through the lush vegetation reveals the beautiful and exceptional tropical forest. In the early afternoon we head for Beauvallon Mahe.

Day 10: (Mahé : Beauvallon – Eden Island Marina)
Discover Beauvallon, a vast white sand beach, embedded in preserved nature. Time for relaxing, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming. After Lunch, departure for the Eden Island Marina. This marina is one of the most prestigious private residential marinas in the world. Enjoy this lively place with bars, restaurants, shops … Dinner and overnight at the dock of the marina.

Day 11: (Eden Island)
Disembarkation early in the morning before 8:00 am.

• Standard Cabin mid-ship in a double cabin with private bathroom
• Superior Cabin Upgrade when available to a slightly larger forward or back / aft cabin
• Air conditioning in service from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm to reduce noise overnight.
With consent of all passengers, A/C will be operated overnight as well.
• Full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner) with drinks (tea/coffee, water, and juices at breakfast)
Note: Special diets such as vegetarian, pescetarian, and vegan may incur an additional fee. A fee will be incurred based on the expense to accommodate the special diet and is determined once the dietary restrictions form is completed.
