Please answer the following questions pertaining to the charter company and the yacht you chartered.
Rating of Charter Company & Yacht: 0
Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
I would give them an 8.5 out of 10. They were not overly friendly but business like and well organized. They were not interested in getting to know us really, but they were not rude in the least. I would charter with them again.

They did reach out when we were underway to see how it was going.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes- very thorough on all systems with one exception. I suggest not taking the boat out until you have raised the mainsail with the lazy jack system. This will save a lot of trouble as it can be tricky to raise the sail with the full battens.

I would also suggest that if you haven’t used the latest B&G/Garmin chart plotter nav system to go online and run the free tutorial. This will save time.

One thing we were not made clear about- if there is an issue with the boat while underway they will walk you through the cure or come to you. We could have used this one time for the mainsail.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
    Excellent
Was the yacht’s cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
    Clean and sufficient.
    Was the yacht well ventilated?
    yes, very
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
The port pilots are very skilled. They take the boat in and out of the slip for you. The space in the harbor is very tight and there is always wind. This is a great convenience.
    Cruising Area

Did you like the area you chartered in?
The islands of BVI is one of the most beautiful areas on earth both above and below the sea surface. We could easily find private coves with no one around as well as interesting local harbors with good food. We were not on the Buffet booze cruise so the beautiful environment and food took priority over the bar life.
Would you like to share your itinerary or a vacation highlight with us?
Cooper Island, Josh Van Dyke and Anegada Islands were amazing. The fishing for tarpon was very good everywhere as was the snorkeling. We loved Dead Man’s Bay and Norman Island. The Dog Islands were very good for snorkeling. The beaches everywhere are wonderful. Navigation is minimally important as everything is done by line of sight, channel markers and depth. The cruising guide is very informative about good anchorages. The large Chart Plotting screens show every detail and we had charts of the entire area around Tortola.
