Please answer the following questions pertaining to the charter company and the yacht you chartered.
Rating of Charter Company & Yacht: 5
Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Very friendly and accommodating. Avril made us feel right at home and responded to all of our requests and requirements.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
      Yes.

However I offer the following observations:
The first charter, three years ago: thorough and clear, all systems.
This charter: Agent had no knowledge of the “sailing” components of the boat, but had good general knowledge of the other systems. I was guessing that he may have recently started with Navigare and was still “learning the ropes” so to speak. He said he had no sailing experience.
As a long time sailor, I was able to fill in the gaps. So no complaints.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
      Excellent overall.
See a couple of notes below.

The upgraded WIFI was great. It worked just about everywhere for everyone.
HOWEVER – it only worked while the generator was running!
A small inverter, running off the batteries, wired into the NAV station, so that the router could remain on, would have made for a perfect experience. (Label it – Not to be used for toasters or coffee makers!!!!)
Was the yacht’s cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
      Yes, well stocked.

But we did leave a list of “nice to have” at checkout.
Things like a measuring cup, and a few other small things, for example.

The entire crew are boat owners, so it was quite easy to figure out what was missing or not working quite right. Otherwise, I’d have to say the boat was well equipped.
      Was the yacht well ventilated?
Very well ventilated, especially with the saloon’s large opening front window. My new favorite feature!

One glitch – the port side aft cabin air-conditioner had a mind of its own. Most of the time it cycled off after running for 15 minutes. Then it would try 5 more times in intervals of about 90 to 120 seconds, and then shut off. It was looked at before we left, and seemed to be running. But for the rest of the trip it actually only worked correctly on one night. The other cabins had no issues.
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
I am very positive toward Navigare overall. With their location at Nanny Cay, they seem to be moving in the right direction with facility and boats. Very friendly and accommodating.

I found the Lagoon 46 Flybridge an excellent platform for 4 couples. Not too big, not too small, just right!
The crew had the same opinion.
      Cruising Area

Did you like the area you chartered in?
Yes. I like the BVI’s very much.

Will charter here again, and would also try a few other areas, possibly St. Vincent, or Croatia.

Please answer the following questions pertaining to the charter company and the yacht you chartered.
Rating of Charter Company & Yacht: 5
Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Yes the charter company had everything ready to go for our 4 pm sleep aboard. They make the checkout process pretty straightforward considering everything that has to happen to make that possible.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes they covered everything that we needed them to.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yes everything was clean with good supplies. Had one cabin air conditioner that kicked off a few times but there are always a few quirks with boats.
Was the yacht’s cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
      Yes
      Was the yacht well ventilated?
      Yes
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
I would like to recommend that someone consider adding power winches for the dingy davits for future boat orders. I believe this is our first boat that didn’t have that and considering that it was the newest and largest that was somewhat surprising.
      Cruising Area

Did you like the area you chartered in?
Yes we had a great time as some places that were not built back from the hurricanes prior were now up and running.
