      Charter Company & Yacht
Please answer the following questions pertaining to the charter company and the yacht you chartered.
Rating of Charter Company & Yacht:
      (5 Being the Highest) 4
Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
No one was around but it was easy to find the boat etc.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Check out was okay. The aft starboard head was clogged upon arrival, it was “fixed” with a new valve placed but it was not fixed and was broken the entire week.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
The yacht was beautiful but there were several maintenance issues. The aft starboard head was clogged from arrival. We didn’t use it. The automatic winch for the dinghy davit didn’t work but we were able to hand pull easily. The port pontoon bilge pump was clogged with hair and other grossness. We took it apart unclogged and fixed. The autopilot wouldn’t turn off so you had to run downstairs and turn off the instruments to regain steering. It was a beautiful boat with a good layout. We own a boat and know how to fix most things so it wasn’t a huge deal for us but I wonder how newbies or older people would feel. We had a strong son to crank the dinghy up.
Was the yacht’s cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Never did find the broom for cabin. Hand swept with wipes. But other wise yes, dishes, stove, equipment excellent.
      Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes, very the best layout ever.
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
We were there during a week when many charts were impounded by customs. We were happy to have our yacht free to travel. It was a beautiful boat, but a few minor maintenance issues should be addressed.

We hope your charter lived up to your expectations and we are eager to have your evaluation and impressions of your yachting vacation. Please answer the following questions and add any comments you may have.

      1. Were the staff at Navigare friendly and accommodating?
They were very nice. Avril and Compton went way above and beyond helping us with governmental nightmares.

      2. Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
nightmares. Was beautiful, very clean. Unfortunately we had to return to Nanny Cay the very next morning to get the generator fixed. It was over heating and they spent a few hours replacing the heat exchanger.

      3. Was the yacht’s cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
      Yes

      4. Was the boat well ventilated?
      Yes

      5. Did the staff at Navigare do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes, because of covid restrictions, our boat briefing was down via video. At first I was not happy about that, but it was actually better because I was able to re-watch a couple segments when I needed them.

      6. Did you like the area you cruised?
      Yes

      7. Could we at Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd. have helped you further in any way?
All our troubles, except for the generator, we’re related to Covid-19 restrictions and the incompetence of the local government. Our 4 day quarantine turned in to 6 days and we were forced to come back a day early to meet covid testing requirements.

      8. May we post this review on our website?
      Yes

      9. Additional comments on your charter?
Avril gets 10 stars, she worked extra hours for us and was very friendly, but I may be reluctant to visit the BVI again because of the current government. There are many other islands to explore.
