Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Staff and crew were very nice and helpful. 5/5 for office staff
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
4/5 star here
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
3/5 for boat working correctly. The yacht is just getting old. Safety lanyard for dingy outboard was not needed to start the engine and keep it running. Pulling off the safety cord did not stop the engine. The engine would have to be choked to stop the engine.
The briefer did not state limits about how many rpm to cruise yacht engines. We ran them at 2400 rpm. 2400 rpm was about 3/4 throttle. Starboard engine overheated. I called to discuss issue during the charter and they were upset because I was running the engines to hard. I have the briefing on video. He never set a limit. They wanted the engines run at 1800 rpm. The boat moved at 3.5 knots at this rpm setting.
One of the winches did not work properly. I didn’t know this until I put pressure on it with the jib and the line went spinning out of control on the wench. Wench spun freely in both directions. I was able to run the sins without third wench, it was just annoying. The entire port side of the boat stayed hot at night. The a/c setting woukd not allow it to be set lower than 78 degrees.

J n j is an older boat, we knew that going in, hence the lower price. However, I was slightly disappointed in tender issues and the briefer clearly was not that knowledgeable of his job. Luckily, I have done 7+ charters and new what I needed to know already. Slightly disappointed with navigare experience. They have done us well in the past.

Beds were extremely comfortable. The yacht was very clean and the crew kept it that way for our entire trip. Everything was touched up daily.

Very well ventilated and the AC worked great.

The crew was amazing!

The food was nothing short of something you would find in a five-star restaurant, and the presentation was even better.

Our crew was extremely friendly and accommodating. I really can't say enough good things about both of them.
Was the food good and well presented?
The food was really over the top. Every meal was not only delicious, but the presentation was always 5 star, and the chef would always introduce the meals and tell how she prepared it, and about the ingredients. Every meal was like this, including lunches and breakfasts.
8. Additional comments about the yacht and crew?
We loved all the activities supported on the cruise, SCUBA diving, kiteboarding, snorkeling, SUPing, swimming, fishing, visiting beaches and restaurant/bars. The SCUBA and snorkeling was amazing as both of the crew would swim with us and show us things under the water. Their marine knowledge was amazing. They spearfished for fish for us and they prepared it for us to eat.

The crew working at Sunsail Belize were top-notch, friendly, respectful, and answered any questions we ever had along the whole trip. I would highly recommend this being the only charter company you go with in Belize.

Beautiful waters and Cays, but very shallow. Keep that in mind when deciding to sail here.
