Yes! They were very helpful to make the air-conditioning work when we were not upstairs or off the boat.

This may have been the most exceptional surprise of the trip. The food was outstanding and the presentation was beautiful!

Because none of us had ever been there before, we made a few suggestions to Captain Johnny Blue and relied on him to show us the island! Could not have done a better job.

We just returned from the most splendid one-week sailing holiday in the British Virgin Islands, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we stepped aboard, Captain James and our incredible cook, Phoebe, made us feel completely at home.
Captain James was calm, knowledgeable, and always attentive, choosing perfect anchorages and giving us the confidence to fully relax and enjoy the journey. Whether we were sailing between islands, swimming in crystal-clear waters, or watching unforgettable sunsets from the deck, every day felt perfectly planned yet wonderfully effortless.
Phoebe’s cuisine was truly exceptional and one of the absolute highlights of our trip. She presented exquisite dishes that felt both refined and comforting worthy of a fine restaurant. Every plate was thoughtfully presented, perfectly seasoned, and tailored to our tastes. She even accommodated everyone’s preferences effortlessly, making each of us feel personally cared for.
Traveling with my wife, our three children, and their spouses made this holiday especially meaningful. Thanks to James and Phoebe’s warmth, professionalism, and genuine care, we were able to simply enjoy each other and create lifelong memories. It was truly a magnificent family adventure.

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Yes the staff were very welcoming and helpful in accommodating our crew.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Review of the yacht was extensive and informative - especially helpful for 1st time charterers.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yacht was clean but requested WiFi was not installed - staff worked to ensure installation before start of trip.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes
Was the yacht well ventilated?

Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
Catamar and Sunsail yachts were well kept but appeared a bit older than those provided by Moorings. I believe this is reflected in the cost differential.

BVI is a beautiful cruising location - hard to pick a favorite.
Would you like to share your itinerary or a vacation highlight with us?
Cooper Island, Beef Island, Bitter End Yacht Club (2 nights for storm avoidance), Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor, Jost Van Dyke, then back to Moorings Road Town. Weather prevented our plans for Anegada - next time!

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Yes
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes, but very quick and I had to ask more questions to be complete.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yes, but the water mater was very finicky and gave up the ghost the last 2 days. The Block Main sheet got tangled and snared and we had to go back to port for repairs. The gas barbecue did not work. But otherwise we had a great time.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes, except for the barbecue which did not work
