Additional comments about working with the VI Sailing team to plan your vacation?
Pre-board team was great to work with. They answered all of our questions although a couple of miscommunications occurred, but nothing that had any significant impact on our vacation. We asked if the boat had a microwave because it wasn't listed as an amenity. We were told no it didn't only to later find it in one of the cabinets on the boat. We also confirmed that the boat had Wi-Fi, which technically speaking it did. However, what we assumed was that having Wi-Fi meant it had an internet connection, which it didn't. I think this should be noted on the amenities list as "no internet connection."

Third charter with Dream Yacht, we had some issues the first time but the last two have been great.

The nature reserves on St Martin and St Barths were amazing. Tintamarre (St Martin) and Anse Columbier (St Barths) were highlights with lots of turtles and rays.

Office staff very friendly. Sleeping aboard is good logistics but bad sleep. Most dock staff commented how rough their marina is. I would recommend staying in a hotel rather than the boat.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes. Tika does a solid walkthrough.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Carelli was clean but is showing its age. On deck cushions and canvas over cockpit tired. Windows in canvas fogged over. Wheel leather completely worn thru. Dingy engine worked but significantly louder than all others and couldn’t be picked up for beach landings.

Kavon(not sure on spelling) gave us the technical briefing on the boat and he was EXCELLENT!!!! This man is clearly talented beyond his current role!
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yes, everything was in good working order and clean with one exception. We immediately noticed a pretty big ant infestation in the outside seating area. Kavon apologized and cleaned it up quickly but must not have found the source of the problem because we battled a lot of ants the entire charter. Again, didn't ruin the vacation or anything just annoyed us as we were constantly killing ants.
