KARMA was very clean and extremely comfortable.

Yes. Ventilation was perfect.

KARMA crew was fantastic. From the food to the drinks to the diving to the snorkeling and everything in between, we cannot say enough good things about Harry and Kristen. We could not have asked for a better crew.
Was the food good and well presented?
Food was excellent and exceptionally well presented. Kristen does a fantastic job.

Scuba diving was fantastic. Harry knew when and where to dive to see wildlife. I greatly appreciated the attention he gave to my diving.

What can I say about the VI Sailing team? As always, you were all amazing. Breanna and Lisa... your timely communication, gentle reminders, I loved them... thank you! And Joann... as always, I have no words to commend and recognize your work and the special rabbits you always seem to pull out of your hat, this time arranging the sleep aboard when we had to change our arrival day to the afternoon of 3 June as a result of Intercaribbean Airways cancelling our 9 am flight on the 4th.
There is a reason why this is our 11th charter booked through you, and it's because without you, this would be much, much harder -and we sincerely appreciate it.

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Sunsail was very professional and well organized. Everyone we met, from front desk to dock to restaurant, was friendly and courteous.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Very good chart briefing. Boat briefing could have been a little more thorough, and never found some equipment that was supposed to be on board (dinghy pump, safety harness). They put most of their briefing material on line, but not the boat briefing; that would have been very helpful when we had issues.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yacht appeared to be less than a month old; very clean and in great working condition. Could have used a securing line or strap to keep the mainsail in place when lowered. Not thrilled with fixed mainsheet location vs a traveller, but understand rationale for charter customers. Same thing with jib sheet barber haulers.
Biggest issue was that morning bridles would rub on anchor flukes, especially when windy. Started lowering anchor a bit so that lines rubbed on anchor chain instead of anchor.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
yes, well stocked. Refrigerator door needed special attention to ensure it was properly latched.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Not a single electric fan in the whole boat. Boat swung a lot at anchor, so even with all hatches open, ventilation was intermittent, and ventilation in the aft cabins was poor. This necessitated running the AC at all times when not underway. Even though the AC had three separate systems, there was apparently a known load issue with running all three at once, leading to a circuit breaker tripping. This circuit breaker was hard to find. The yacht did not have a central AC panel; circuit breakers were all over the boat, and no AC voltage gauge was provided. The DC panel was very good, and included fuel and water tank level readouts. Despite having a fancy sound system, we were unable to get sound through the cockpit speakers. The VHF in the cabin was hard to hear in the cockpit, and no handheld was provided. Only one USB outlet.

First time back to Peter Island since well before hurricane. No dingy dock in Deadman’s Bay, made it a challenge to be dressed for dinner and having to beach it. Made for some laughs and a good story.

Moorings is consistent for getting high marks on service
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Complete review, friendly and patient.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
I can't remember ever having a charter with no issues. Everything working, no leaks. Clean with everything expected in rooms/towels, kitchen clean with all utensils, cooking, storage, plates/silverware/glasses. Rigging for boat complete as well as for liines for docking and bumpers for docking. Dingy started on first pull every time.

A/C worked great. Hatches and doors were great when not on A/C
