Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Yes.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
The boat was exceptionally clean - I think the cleanest boat I have ever chartered. There were a few minor defects (e.g. holding tank gauge) but they were described to us and all had work arounds.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes. AC was on (shore power) when we boarded.
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
The front office crew was friendly and knowledgable (they made taxi reservations for our final day.) The boat was exceptionally clean. Everything on board (E.g. engines, generator, water maker, electronics dinghy, sails), worked as advertised. After about a week, the generator stopped and would only run for a few seconds. We assumed it was overheating, cleaned the sea water filter, and discovered the coolant reservoir was empty. Since we had been given only a cup of coolant, we called Navigare and they immediately dispatched an experienced and knowledgeable mechanic from Bitter End, who brought a gallon of coolant and completely checked the system. We had no further generator problems. We also called them about a radio problem, which we were able to get working properly. Everyone was positively impressed with the support from Navigare.

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Went over everything. He even explained how to make water and all the details. Once we needed water, we discovered the membranes needed to be replaced.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
No bow thrusters. No water maker. Oven did not work.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
The morning we were supposed to depart before our debriefing we were trying to cook biscuits in the oven and it would not heat up. We contacted the front desk and they sent someone over to take a look at it. He came on board and said, “I see that it’s not getting hot, but, I can’t turn it in as “broken” because it’s turning on” the left. Another employee walked by and saw our distress, came on board and said, let me get you another oven… He then removed that oven and replaced it with a like unit. It worked perfectly. The first gentleman came on board afterwards and said I’m glad, “we” were able to get that fixed… We did not tip him, but tipped the gentleman that replaced it.

Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
Bow thruster did not work. Was told the water maker was operational and found out the membranes needed to be replaced three days in. After I called the service line, the gentleman said, “they knew the membranes were not good and should have told you”. Lower helm screen went out during Charter. Oven needed to be replaced. When reserving the boat, I specifically wanted bow thrusters, water maker, and clearly an oven. The bow thruster and water maker should have been addressed before our arrival. There were multiple boats of same make/model in the Marina.
