Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Very nice and easy. Boat was already ready when we arrived.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes, very thorough.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Any critical systems worked but was a bit surprised at the number of little things that didn't work given it was a newer boat. 2 fridges didn't work. Water maker didn't work. Grill didn't work. Broken drawer. Horn breaker tripped (weird one!). Nothing that made the trip difficult but for being a newer boat I was surprised.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yep, awesome but we only cooked breakfast and maybe 2 meals.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yep awesome.

Moorings is great and we've always had good experiences overall. They just tend to not fix many of the little things.

There was a few hiccups this time I think due to a misspelling on my name. Moorings said they were missing things I had done already. Also, prior to booking I wasn't aware of the requirement for the NauticEd cert. Luckily I had enough time to do it but that could have been a disaster.

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Yes, not particularly ebullient for people in the tourism industry, but good enough.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes. Vaggelis Katsikadas (fellow Greek) did a very good job.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yes, very. Only thing is that the port bow pulpit stanchion ended up coming undone with almost no force, so it could have been a hazard. Also, the VHF was making weird worrisome sounds and its LCD screen had an invisible portion so you couldn't read the text.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes, although one of the pots was missing a lid.
Separately, the plates and glasses were placed in the cabinets as if it were a condo, but any movement in a seaway would have broken them. This was not a catamaran. Thankfully we had bubble wrap and stuffed it into the cabinets to reduce movement.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
It was OK. The amidships hatch had enough friction to be left at 45 degrees, but the forward 3 hatches were only completely vertical, so not as good for ventilation. But overall it was OK.
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
It was surprisingly good for the job, despite the old-ish age.

The folks at Navigare were warm and welcoming.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
The briefing was excellent and thorough.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
The boat was immaculate. EVERYTHING, the A/C, the heads, the stoves, the outboard, and the watermaker worked, perfectly, first time.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes and we took full advantage of it.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes, no smells.

I would gladly charter again with Navigare in the BVI.

Yes, we charter in the BVI frequently.
Would you like to share your itinerary or a vacation highlight with us?
We visited Cooper, Peter and Norman Islands. We stopped at the Baths on our way to the North Sound. We saw Happy Arrr in Leverick Bay and celebrated the Full Moon Party in Trellis Bay. Soper's Hole made a perfect last night's stop.

VI Sailing bailed me out with a last minute charter boat when my initial charter company cancelled my reservation at the last minute. We've chartered multiple times with many companies and this was the best service that we have ever received. The boat provided was in excellent condition and a pleasure to sail.
