Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
Serena was spotless when we got on board. It was extremely hot (hey, it's June), and the crew ran the AC whenever we wanted.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes.
Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
We can't say enough about the crew. They took fantastic care of us. I can't even think of any way they can improve.
Was the food good and well presented?
The food was amazing. We have lots of food allergies among the six guests, and they prepared amazing meals working around our allergies. Sometimes we'd get 3 or 4 different meals served to us, just to accommodate. Vivi always made sure everyone had a fantastic meal.
8. Additional comments about the yacht and crew?
We felt like we made friends with the crew. The yacht was gorgeous, and amazingly appointed. It was comfortable, and fit our needs exactly.

The overall experience was good, with the slight caveat that I gave the wrong email address, so a few weeks before the sail I hadn't been contacted. My mistake, but I did get a little nervous!

Very ! Capt Nickie was Fantastic at Blue Lagoon. Very informative and thorough.
Leading up to our arrival, Queeniesha at the Moorings Base was beyond helpful. A pleasure to work with.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Best Briefing I have had compared to my 10 other Bare Boat Charters.
Great Job Capt Nickie.......aka Hollywood !!
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yes.
Had 2 minor issues duriing the Charter but they were addressed by Queeniesha.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
Again, I have Chartered many times. Mostly w Moorings. This was the best experience overall that I have had.

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Yes we arrived on a Sunday afternoon and even thou the office was closed, the envelope that was left provided all the info need for us to get to the boat.
There was a power outage that night on the island and our AC stopped working.
We called the number provided and received detailed instruction over the phone on how to switch power to generator while there was no shore power.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Chart briefing was very helpful and informative.
Boat orientation was done in detail, professionally and a timely manner.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yes boat had all the promised equipmant on board working and in good condition
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes
Was the yacht well ventilated?
I think boats can always use fresh air after sitting closed up for a few days.
When we walked aboard AC was turned on

Bali 4.0 is a very nice and comfortable boat for up to 8 people
Chartering with VIYC is simple and easy
I’m looking forward to my next years charter with them

Did you like the area you chartered in?
This was my 3rd time in Virgin Islands but first time on the British side.
I plan to go back next year to see the places that we skipped this time
Would you like to share your itinerary or a vacation highlight with us?
We started our charter in ST Thomas at Compass Point Marina and from there we circumnavigated Tortola and ST John making several stops along the way at Jost Van Dyke, Sandy Cay, Virgin Gorda, Saba Rock, Cooper Island, Norman Island stop at Willy T’s is a must.
Clearing customs in to BVI with Gillian’s help was easy and quick.

Cruising Area
Did you like the area you chartered in?
We wanted to snorkel, sail, and snorkel every day. We did that in secluded gorgeous bays among St Thomas, Water Island, St John and several smaller uninhabited islands. We were often one of only a small handful of boats in the area. It was exactly as we had dreamt.
Would you like to share your itinerary or a vacation highlight with us?
Every day we'd snorkel a few hours after a light breakfast of fruit and pastry. They we'd lounge for a bit. Sometimes we ate lunch after the snorkel, sometimes after a sail to another bay. The sail was usually a few hours, and I drove most of the time with Captain Hugh working the sails. My crew laid around reading and enjoying beverages. After anchoring or mooring (often in a federal park) we'd go snorkeling and swimming for a few more hours before dinner. After dinner we usually had a few cocktails. Two nights Hugh and Vivi participated in an impromptu karaoke singalong. A few days we swam or took the dingy to the beach and spent some time enjoying the shallows.
