Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
Prefect. The yacht was immaculate, well designed for 7-8 people with lots of places to relax. It sailed well and the electric winches made raising and adjusting the sails easy. The "garage door" opening of the cabin was amazing. It made dining outdoors possible while also having the benefit of creating a large indoor dining space if the weather misbehaved.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes, though the port-lights were all labeled - "Do Not Open" - which is true and important to remember when underway or if rain is expected, but on cool evenings, it felt unnecessarily restrictive.
Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
The crew - Shane and Ellen were incredible. Ellen's cooking and presentation was perfection and Shane handled everything else perfectly - the boat, the kids and the adults. He worked hard to get us to the best places for snorkeling and planned each day with just enough flexibility to deal with wind shifts. He made sure we had peaceful nights when anchored. He also had us under sail enough to satisfy our wanting to sail whenever possible.
Was the food good and well presented?
Ellen's cooking, choices of food, presentation and overall service was perfection. She also was a great new "friend" to the youngest member of our family - a young lady of 8 years.
8. Additional comments about the yacht and crew?
We had a great week on the water thanks to a great boat, perfect first mate and a captain who was very friendly, thoughtful and expert at handling the boat, the people and the planning of each day's adventure.

Did you like the area you chartered in?
Yes - great snorkeling, good breezes and interesting, uncrowded anchorages allowing for quiet times on the boat as well as time spent exploring the tropical paradises that pop up, up and down the coast of Belize. A perfect way to avoid the incredible over-crowding of the BVI's.
Would you like to share your itinerary or a vacation highlight with us?
I would recommend the cave rafting experience - which requires a 2+ hour drive inland from Placentia. It's a touristy thing to do, and a bit overdone, but the kids loved it, and it was a break from the boat.
Snorkeling was the primary activity for the kids and they did plenty of it.
