Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
The charter company (Navigere) is wasn’t helpful at all, except giving me the contact details information for my skipper. The skipper was awesome (Barbara) and so thorough, safe and accommodating.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
The charter company did not, but our skipper was awesome.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
The yacht was worn but clean. The anchor was windlass started smoking and we had to hand crank the anchor up. This caused us to have to moo and dock for two plus days until it could be replaced. The sail design was very odd and the hoisting the mainsail was a huge pain.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Sufficient but we weren’t allowed aboard until several hours past 5:00pm.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes, for the season we went.

Yes, they explained everything in detail.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
The yacht was clean. Everything was in good working condition, with the exception of the generator and and port A/C system.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes. I am not sure why we had bone china for dinner plates. The knives need to be sharpened.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
I have chartered with Sunsail in the past. This was the first time I chartered a sailing catamaran as opposed to a mono-hull. The catamaran had much more room and was more comfortable.
The Sunsail folks were a great help with the paperwork and organizing our transportation back to the airport for out departure.
Cruising Area

Did you like the area you chartered in?
The area was great. We visited Sint Marten and Saint Barts. Processing in and out of each country was a bit of hassle. It was much easier in the BVI. But now that I have been through the process it will be less stressful in the future.
Would you like to share your itinerary or a vacation highlight with us?
Marigot Bay to Grand Case. Snorkeling and anchor overnight.
Grand Case to Tintamarre, snorkeling. Tintamare to Ile Forchue. Anchor overnight. Kayaking and snorkeling. Ile forchue to Gustavia overnight. Shoping and exploring. Gustavia to Pt Colombier. Kayaking, snorkeling. Overnight on a mooring ball. Pt. Colombier around the southern coast of Saint Marteen bypassing the hustle of Philipsburg and going back to Grand Case for overnight and more water sports and good dinner ashore. Grand Case back to Marina Ft Louis. Spent the evening packing, going to dinner and the casino.
