Get ready to set sail with the one and only Captain Jacob Beman, the man who turned his passion for sailing into a dream career!
Hailing from the Windy City of Chicago, Captain Jacob made his way down to beautiful Southern California after college to escape the frigid temperatures and soak up the sun. It was there that he fell in love with all things sailing and yachting, and boy has he been living the high life ever since!
After purchasing his own boat and getting involved with various race teams, Captain Jacob knew he had found his calling and dove headfirst into a full-time career in the industry. He traveled to far-flung locations like the Mediterranean and Australia, gaining experience and perfecting his skills before finally landing in the idyllic Virgin Islands in 2018.
For the past four seasons, Captain Jacob has been living his ultimate dream, working as a captain in both the USVI and BVI. He’s been sharing his love for these incredible islands with guests from all over the world, and he couldn’t be happier doing what he loves. Last season, he was in charge of the luxurious S/Y Synergy in the BVI, and he was thrilled when the same owner purchased the equally stunning M/Y Synergy and asked him to continue as their captain.

Meet Audrey Boulliene, a yacht chef with incredible culinary skills that will leave your taste buds begging for more.
This Montreal native took the yachting world by storm as the previous chef on the luxurious power catamaran, Mystic Soul. And let’s just say, she’s absolutely killing it!
With multiple 1st place awards from the 2022 BVI Charter Yacht boat show, Audrey is no stranger to creating dishes that will make your taste buds dance with joy. Her lifelong passion for cooking has led her to hone her skills over the past 8 years as a professional cook, and now, she’s one of the best in the business.
What sets Audrey apart is her extensive customer service and hospitality experience. She caters to every guest’s dietary needs with the highest level of service. It’s truly an experience that you won’t forget.
Audrey has been freelancing for chartered yachts since 2016, and let’s just say, she’s found her calling. Her specialty is fusion cuisine, and she’s extremely passionate about fine dining and creating beautiful plates that are almost too pretty to eat. But trust us, you won’t be able to resist!
For Audrey, though, the most rewarding part of being a yacht chef is creating unforgettable memories and epicurean experiences for her guests. She loves living on the water, and there’s nothing that brings her more joy than sharing a delicious meal with loved ones against the breathtaking backdrop of the sea.

Day 1:
WELCOME ABOARD!
- Meet your crew on dock in St. Thomas
- Settle in with refreshments
- Safety briefing
- Underway to St. John’s National Park
- Maho Bay & ‘Maho Crossroads’
- Lunch is served after some refreshments
- Paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling
- A beautiful sunset dinner on the aft deck
- Party the night away under the stars!
Day 2:
NORMAN ISLAND
- Move around to Leinster Bay after breakfast for a short hike to the Annaburg Ruins on St. John
- Return for lunch, then a short jaunt across the international border to West End, Tortola, to check into BVI
- Then set sail for Great Harbour, Norman Island, for the rest of the day, with an optional snorkel stop at the Indians
- Option for happy hour fun aboard the famous Willy T or spend a peaceful evening around the corner at Privateer Bay
Day 3:
PETER ISLAND
- Option to snorkel the nearby famous caves of Norman Island in the morning after breakfast, or go for a hike underway to sail upwind to beautiful Dead Man’s Bay
- Options for snorkeling, beach combing, floating, or subwing fun
Day 4:
COOPER ISLAND
- Optional morning snorkel stop at the famous wreck of the RMS Rhone
- Underway to Cooper Island’s Beach Club for the rest of the day, a very yacht-oriented club only accessible by boat. This is a great spot for a dinner ashore as well (optional)
Day 5:
THE BATHES
- Early morning departure to the Bathes (to beat the crowds) or we can visit the more remote Fallen Jerusalem (similar to the Bathes without the crowds)
- Or spend the day at Scrub Island Resort’s pool and spa. Optional snorkel stop at Great Dog Island
- Evening mooring at Marina Cay, off of Great Camanoe Island
Day 6:
JOST VAN DYKE
- Nice downwind sail to Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke for a day of fun in the sun! Taxi or dinghy around to White Bay – a beach that is lined with world famous beach bars, including Soggy Dollar.
- Optional late night at Foxy’s.
Day 7:
CRUZ BAY
- Sail back to the USVI, checking in at Cruz Bay, St. John
- Optional lunch and shopping in town, before getting underway to Christmas Cove for the evening
Day 8:
BACK TO ST. THOMAS
- Last chance to take advantage of that Caribbean sun
- Leisurely morning with a downwind sail to Yacht Haven Grande to drop off at noon

American Airlines launches a New Direct Flight from Miami to Tortola!
American Airlines is expanding its Caribbean flight offerings from Miami this summer by introducing it’s new service to Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS) in the British Virgin Islands.
This seasonal flight will be operated daily by Envoy using an Embraer E175 aircraft and starting on June 1, 2023. It will run throughout the summer and resume again in November.

With the gentle bubbles of champagne intertwining with the vibrant zest of freshly squeezed orange juice, this iconic cocktail sets the perfect tone for a morning of relaxation and indulgence on the open seas.

As you celebrate the start of another blissful day aboard your yacht, the Mimosa whispers the promise of delightful moments and unforgettable memories to be made.

Ingredients:
~ 2 oz chilled champagne or sparkling wine
~ 2 oz chilled orange juice
~ Orange slice for garnish
Now that you have all your ingredients ready let’s get started!
Instructions:
1. Take a champagne flute and pour in the chilled orange juice.
2. Slowly pour the chilled champagne or sparkling wine over the orange juice, allowing the bubbles to mix gently.
3. Stir lightly with a cocktail stirrer or a long spoon to combine the liquids.
4. Garnish with a slice of orange.
5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Note: If you’re feeling adventurous, go ahead and mix it up a bit. You can swap the orange juice for some blood orange juice, or try out a completely different fruit juice altogether. You can’t go wrong with cranberry, apple cider, grapefruit, or pomegranate juice. And if you really want to get fancy, add a little bit of orange liqueur like Grand Marnier to give it some extra oomph. Just remember to start with a 4:1 ratio of juice to liqueur – a little goes a long way! Get creative and have fun with it!
