Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Absolutley. Arnoled of Dream Yacht Charters was great in getting us all settled in, give us the rundown of the yacht. Brandon did an exceptional job on the chart briefing and looking at navigational hazards.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes. They did.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
The yacht was clean and in great working condition. We had an issue with the master head, as previous charters did not empty the tanks and the gorund crew failed to notice it. The toxic fumes and order were a big problem on night one but we adressed it with the ground crew and together, it was resolved.
I also took it upon myslef to clean the water line since it had an ugly buikd uop of algae that made the boat look poorly maintained, when in fact it was merely an issue with the water quality in the marina. I also adressed it with Dream Yacht Charter and they will prevent such an issue going forward. In a nutshell, there were no problems at all during the charter. Very happy about it.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes. As an experienced sailor, there are of course items that are considered to be personal preferences and those are advised to be handled individually (i.e. extra trash bags, kitchen towles, cleaning material etc.)
But the basics of the boat were sufficient for a
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes. The design and layout of the cabikn hatches, in combination with the main cabin and its sliding doors, allowed for a good breeze to travel through the boat at all times. At bight, we ised the AC to lower the temp for a better sleep.

I am very happy with the services and vessel I was provided and would definitley charter through VI Sailing again. I will alos highly recommmend your company to family and friends.

Yes. It was a dream. St. John was the highlight between St. Thomas & St. John. We didn't get the chance to experience St. Croix but will attempt it soon.

EXCELLENT. The concierge team was pleasant and very helpful in making sure that all items required pre-charter are checked off and that the vacation goes smooth. The communication was very professional, transparent and easy to follow.

Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
yes. the yacht was comfortable and clean for the most part. One couple wasnt happy sleeping next to the generator every night that was run for the air conditioning. Loud and smelly. They actually slept outside on the boat first two nights worrying about carbon monoxide poisoning. The crew emphasized the carbon monoxide detector in their room was working.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
The garage door on the Bali was great during day and closing it at night for air conditioning was awesome. Only other issue was the smell from the generator at night
Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
Liam and Nantes were fantastic. Very friendly and easy to get along with. I had a few conversations with both of them during the week, very easy to talk to and both went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed at all times of day.
they worked great together as well, a great team.
Was the food good and well presented?
Just about every meal we had was excellent. Other than the generator issue, the only complaint about the entire trip was a couple of the meals. On the preference sheet I stated we were meat eaters and shell fish eaters. I also had a conversation with Liam about food costs and each boat trying to turn a profit for the company. Having lamb twice and venison once instead of a ribeye or filet and crawfish instead of shrimp or crab was maybe too much for a couple people in our party. I hope it didn't have anything to do with food costs. One person in the party lost her appetite all together from the venison meal. Liam did say he would make something else but I think she declined the offer. we also only had 3 bottles of sparkling rose on the boat, I specifically mentioned to have that available for the girls on the preference sheet. We ran out at somepoint I can't remember when exactly, We, as a party, are all easy going, everything just mentioned didn't bother us much but thought it should be mentioned.

Loved the boat and crew. Our party was well taken care of on and off the boat. Nantes calling ahead and ordering dinner at the Wonky Dog and reserving a car for us was great. Liam jumping in water and tying off the stern on both sides wasnt easy but well appreciated when we anchored in a couple of bays. Dinghy rides to and from shore were well appreciated also!!

day 1-on boat at noon, spent first night anchorage at Little Camino. snorkel/swim
day 2-the Baths very early, back to boat for breakfast, sail up to North Sound, anchored at Bitter End Yacht Club. Tarpon feeding and dinner at Saba Rock.
day 3- Anegada. rented car, flamingo preserve, loblolly to snorkel, Anegada beach club for lunch, Typsy's Bar, and cow wreck beach to hang out. Wonky Dog for dinner
day 4- sandy spit, then to Jost Van Dyke to Bubbly Pool and then to Tortola and Cane Garden Bay for the night.
day 5-Norman Island, Caves and Indians and Willy T.
day 6- Peter Island- anchored at Little Harbour and spent entire day there. swim/snorkel
day 7- Cooper Island- swam/snorkel. went to rum bar
day 8-went to Marina Cay to snorkel but too many jellyfish in water, back to Scrub island

Yes - except for generator we were without air conditioning for 24 hours. We had a terribly hot night on the boat. June 17-18

We had to call and practically beg for service. Wouldn’t come out to the boat after 5 pm so we had a miserable night. Service arrived next day - got it to work and it completely shut down about 15 minutes later. We called again. Few hours later they returned. We asked them to make sure this time - however same thing happened. They returned around 5 and finally got it to work. Took all evening to get boat to cool down.

We are repeat customers- hopefully we get compensation for 2 day and almost 2 nights without a generator. If so - we will continue to book with the Moorings again next June 2026
