Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
We arrived after hours for a sleep aboard, so no charter company staff were present. We had to walk the marina to find the boat and the facilities. I suggested to the boat debriefer that BVI Yacht Charters create a PDF diagram of their base for late arriving charterers.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?

Yes it was amazing!

Sophie and Robin were great. We couldn’t have requested anyone better!
Was the food good and well presented?
Yes way above our expectations. 3 sit down meals a day beautifully plated and drinks and snacks in between. Everything was freshly made from scratch. Sophie was in the kitchen from 6:30 am to 9 pm everyday!

We loved it all! Can’t say enough wonderful things about the yacht and crew!

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Yes.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Briefing was very short. Having chartered before with Moorings I knew much of the equipment and its use. However this was a newer yacht. Mostly everything was controlled using the monitor screens. For example, the fresh water pump tripped and I spent some time looking for the breaker. It was all in the monitor. Took a couple of calls to Moorings technical service but they answered timely and were able to assist.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
In general, yes. We had an issue with the generator the second day. Also, the water maker did not work since the beginning. I will be soliciting a refund and credit for these issues.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes.
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
None. Except that they need to refund the money spent purchasing power and provide a $ credit for the loss of use (time) to fix the generator and stopping to fill up the water tanks.

Highlights were several days of excellent wind for spirited sailing and an excursion to St. John - see photo taken at Francis Bay. Lowlight was a Portuguese Man-o-War jellyfish sting (anaphylactic shock) that landed me in the Road Town hospital for one night. VISAR crew was incredible! Top marks to them.
