Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
yes
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?

Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Clean, yes but a number of aspects of the boat didn't work.
The batteries were on their last legs and not holding a charge so we were having to start the motors every few hours.
The B&G Wind component of the instruments was not functional which hampered our navigation.
The dinghy motor was inadequate and difficult to start -then ran rough and leaked gas
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
No.
There was a deck wash broom - but no interior broom or mop - no cleaning cloths, or dish towels however we were told to bring our own cleaning products and we did (including the cloths)
Was the yacht well ventilated?
the windows and hatches all worked - the fans worked
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
There should have been a tie down for the headboard of the main sail as there was no way to prevent flapping of that halyard

Additional comments about working with the VI Sailing team to plan your vacation?
While the communication was adequate, the information given wasn't. I'm sure there was a break down in communication between the owner of the vessel and the VI sailing team as information wasn't accurate in a few key areas.
We were told the vessel had both air conditioning and a barbeque but neither were available. We were told there was a coffee maker, and there wasn't. We were told we could access the vessel after 5pm on the day of pick up but if we had picked up after 5 pm as instructed, we would have missed the customs office which closes at 3pm and would not have been able to leave with the vessel until the paperwork had been completed and the office opened the following day, putting us behind schedule for our next port. Luckily, we requested an early access and moved quickly to get our paperwork complete for the owner.
The onus was put onto us to connect the VI Sailing Team with the local agent as they didn't seem to have the contact information, which I found very odd.
In the end, we had a really good trip, but these little frustrations did leave a mark. If it were my company, I would have detailed inventory lists of all vessels I was promoting and firm pick up and delivery instructions for customers to be fully prepared for all expectations to be fulfilled.

Minx sails well, but design is very frustrating. Split helms are a safety hazard. Electronics split forces helmsman to switch sides continually and there's nothing to hang onto when doing so. Dangerous when heeled. Also, very constricted access between cockpit and side deck and when going forward on deck.

Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
Oh very much so! They catered to us and were very accommodating. Very helpful in making decisions on what to do or not to do. Michelle did a wonderful job keeping us busy, Charli was an awesome cook and Alex definitely knew how to sail a boat! They were very pleasant and easy to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better crew!
Was the food good and well presented?
Yes the food was amazing and the drinks were great as well! Charli always had a delicious snack for us when we got back on the boat after being on the island or swimming.

The crew made this trip! The yacht was perfect size and very comfortable.

We cruised by most of BVI except for Anegada. We hit most of the natural wonders and many of the hot spots on land. We sailed a few times and dove a few times. We snorkled every day. The weather was beautiful.

Everyone at Virgin Island Sailing was very helpful. I ended up communicating with about 6 different people and they were all great but it was just a little confusing.

Yes, thorough overview of boat, staff responded quickly to get missing items and supply extra items as requested.

Yes, however ran into issue on day two. Company responded promptly and we only lost 1/2 day

Freezer system froze some of the food; cook didn't understand how to modulate temperature

Couldn't figure out how to turn off accent lights in kitchen/living area; staff couldn't either, so they stayed on the whole trip
