The trip was complicated somewhat because of the need for water taxi and coming in a night early. It was handled very smoothly. Dolphin water taxi was outstanding.

Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
The catamaran was clean and new. Comfortable except in the rain. The dining salon wasn’t completely dry. But didn’t rain much. Have never been asked to not flush toilet paper. I’ve been on dozens of sailing and motor yachts. Still a headscratcher

This was an exceptional captain and chef/mate combo. Highest recommendations

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Yes, extremely. TMM was, by far, the most accommodating and thorough team that I have worked with

Yes. Henning did an excellent job going through every aspect of the boat equipment.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yes.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes
Was the yacht well ventilated?
No. The salon was fine, but both hulls smelled of boat-head. Once we opened it up and got a little ventilation going, there were no issues for the rest of the charter. They should consider opening things up a bit before charterer's arrive.
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
I really enjoyed working with TMM. We loved the layout of the Lagoon 46, but it sailed like a pig. The new aft mast placement caused it to weather unless the main was almost completely de-powered.

Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
The boat briefer was young and inexperienced. He gave us some wrong information and was actually going to drive the boat away from the dock before the electric cables were removed. It would have been better to have had someone brief us who had actually sailed the boat.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yes, although a throttle handle pulled off during the sail. This was probably due to salt corrosion. Also, two of the cabins did not have air conditioning, although that didn't bother us because we didn't use air conditioning.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Excellent. The best we've ever had.

Yes

Generally very good. We got good information over the phone from the maintenance manager when we had questions or problems. He was also always available.

Yes. It was a bit crowded, but the Boaty-Ball system really helped us to secure moorings. The snorkeling was great!
