9. Additional comments on your charter?
This is our first trip with Moorings, but our 3rd in the USVIs since the BVIs closed due to Covid. We love the convenience of landing at STT and being on the boat within the hour, with no ferry ride. St. John (in particular) has so many great anchorages/moorings that it's easy to spend an entire week just around that island. It is also nice that no passport is required for those of us from the U.S.

9. Additional comments on your charter?
Water maker never worked. Took 2 days to get a response and I had to track down the mechanic at Stanley Cay, he is way overworked. Showed up after dark and said the water maker would not work. Bathroom floor drains would gyeser up when you ran the sink. One shower drain would not empty all the way. I called the Sunsail office and manager and Chubby. No answers. Left voicemails and text messages. Tried radio as well. Finally called Sandra on her cell, she was off, but gave me numbers to call. Sandra was a big help to us. The Lagoon 424 is the slowest boat I have ever sailed. Max 3.5 knots with 12 knots Abeam or following. 7 knots with both motors. Loved the Exumas and will return for a longer trip next time.

8. Additional comments on your charter?
Ad Astra is a great boat for large groups. Our crew was fabulous. We can not say enough about how we enjoyed our time and enjoyed Michelle and Jacob. We would highly recommend this boat and this crew to others! The only draw back was the noise created by the generator in the port forward cabin. We would recommend sleeping with ear plugs.
