This was our first charter family vacation and wished we had done it sooner! It was the best family vacation we ever experienced. For the first time, as parents, we were not exhausted after the vacation for having to plan daily excursions and meals throughout the trip. Captain Wouts was incredible with our three teen boys. He kept them busy everyday. His patience and thoughtfulness with teaching the boys how to wakeboard was a highlight. Captains daily excursions were out of this world! He knew all the special spots and was able to get us in and out well before the tourist crowds. He was so kind and willing to answer all our yachting questions…as we are planning on purchasing a similar boat when we retire. Chef/Crew Kelly was equally remarkable. Her food was out of this world! My picky boys cleaned their plate every single meal! She and Wouts kept our drinks full, bellies filled and memories over-flowing. By the end of the trip, they felt like family and it was hard to say goodbye. I cannot recommend this Crew enough for a family experience that will last a lifetime!

The food was the best we've ever had. Better than any 5 star restaurant!

We missed the BVI's but still had a great time. Would not sail to St. Croix again but would stay around St. John and St. Thomas

Matt and Colleen were wonderful! They made our dream vacation even better by all the ways they went above and beyond to see that our family had a wonderful time. Colleen made sure we visited the places we wanted to see. Matt made the most delicious food we have ever eaten, better than any 5 star restaurant. He made the most amazing specialty cocktails. The family loved getting up in the morning to see the theme of the day for the meals and drinks. Colleen was very informative about our questions about sailing and destinations. Matt and Colleen make a great team. It was our second trip with them and we hope to have another. The first one we didn't take the adult kids. We had such a great time we wanted to take our adult kids for our 30th anniversary. They made it a special time for entire family.

Jen and are the ultimate hosts, very friendly and professional, they really make sure you are comfortable and have everything that you need.
2. Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
The yacht was immaculate and comfortable.
3. Was the yacht well ventilated?
The rooms are well ventilated with the hatches open and in the evening we had air conditioning while we slept and anytime we needed when preparing to go out for an evening off the boat
4. Was the food good and well presented?
Amazing food!! Jen is an accomplished chef and prepares the most amazing meals as well as appetizers and cocktails- you want for nothing.
5. Did you like the area you sailed?
The USVI was our sailing region and it was so beautiful and so much fun. We had a blast starting and ending our trip by attending a live band performance on the back on another yacht near our anchorage in St. John and St. Thomas , we sailed to St. Croix and there’s so much to do there, we snorkeled pier in Frederickstead, went to the hottest place in town for a cocktail at “The Fred”, a diving excursion, snorkeling at Buck Island,LiveMusic and dinner at Christinastead, off road jeep tour of the rainforest as well as horseback riding the rainforest and swimming with them as well. we hiked Rams head in St. John and the salt pond, USVI has so much to do and see, we want to go back and see more, with Jen and Sam of course!

We highly recommend sailing the USVI with Sam and Jen, they make you feel so comfortable and make sure you are enjoying every aspect of your trip. One of our favorite things is sailing, we sailed to St. Croix and back and it was great, they make sure you are safe and enjoy the sail, we even caught a fish and Jen prepared it for our dinner that evening. Wonderful team, beautiful boat and accommodations. Highly recommend sailing Starfish, you will love every minute!
