Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
We arrived after hours, but Navigare had prearranged a taxi and the our boat was
"front and center" when we arrived at the dock!
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes (but we had chartered an FP Helios before)
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Very clean. We did have a few problems with the boat.
1 - the primary refridgerator failed with a crew member's insulin in it. The insulin had to be thrown away because it got hot. Much of the fridge contents had to also be discarded.
2 - The freezer would not freeze (only keep cold)
3 - Multiple shackle-attachment bolts were loose at the base of the mast. One came off while under sail and we needed to perform a field-repair.
4 - The roller furler jammed multiple times (needs adjusting)
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Need a broom to sweep out sand! (other than a wisk broom)
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes. And the AC worked great!

First time we've been with Navigare and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Very responsive to questions. Working with Joann again was awesome! As usual, having the guide ahead of time helps a lot. We took guests on this charter and I'm certain they will use VI Sailing in the future.

Yes it could have used a second cooler or a larger cooler and of equal importance a Yeti cooler I own them and the ice really does melt very slowly within them.

Only issues: take the Mafolie off any list of recommendations. It is rundown. We got there and left for another hotel.

Also, we were told the boat would pick us up in St Thomas and cruise the USVi. But it was only permitted in BVI. That was fine but we had to pay port and ferry charges of about $380 (passenger and luggage) both ways to Tortola to meet the Sisu.

Also we ate on islands two
nights. Do we get back $1000? Wasn’t there to be a credit of $125 per person per dinner?

absolutely-- the best-- they were well prepared-- all papers were in order . The desk staff was exceptionally friendly and professional.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
the on boarding staff-- one gentleman was great. They tailored the "on boarding" to our needs.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
exceptional
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
yes-- the coffee maker leaked, because 2 peices glass coffee pot , plastic drip piece were not the original. one piece was old and the other new.

yes
