Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
Yes. The boat was very comfortable and clean. The crew took great care of the boat and made sure to keep it spotless throughout our charter. It was spacious enough for our group and had everything we needed for our week long charter.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes
Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
Rob, Bex, and Dani were AMAZING. They catered to our every need in a prompt and delightful manner. They were informative and friendly and went out of their way to make our vacation exceptional. Our crew was personable and helpful and really made our charter. They made us feel like family and we were all really sad to leave them.
Was the food good and well presented?
The food was EXCEPTIONAL. You could tell that Rob and Bex take pride in their cooking and their presentation. Every meal was well balanced and perfectly prepared. There was a variety of dishes and we looked forward to every meal. Dani also took pride in setting a beautiful table for every meal. Furthermore, Rob and Bex seemed to know exactly when we would need a snack and had it prepared and waiting for us. We enjoyed every single meal and the food exceeded our expectations.
8. Additional comments about the yacht and crew?
We can't say enough great things about our crew. They were delightful in every way. They met our every need and did so with a great attitude. Bex planned scuba diving trips, taxis, dinner reservations - whatever we needed. She made our trip effortless. And Rob was also a great snorkeling guide!! Truly, this crew made our trip.

An email with all of the extra options would be helpful. We loved all of the options - but I felt badly emailing the concierge with multiple requests. Could be a bit more efficient with the add ons (from guest end and concierge end).

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?

Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?

Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
The grill did not work. We actually noted this to the sunsail rep in our onboarding meeting but he assured us it was just the wind. Instead - we found out that night it was broken. Minor - but was a little frustrating.

Dear Bonnie, Steve, and Sailor

I wanted to convey our appreciation and gratitude for the care and attention to detail you both showed us on our wonderful Christmas / New Years charter….Nicole and I had fabulous week, Bonnies’ food was exceptional... the freshness , variety and portions were perfect for us. Captain Steve was able to fast track the paperwork required to enter the BVI which was our goal on this trip as we had been denied entry in 2020 due to Covid restrictions. All in all an amazing trip, both relaxing and fun when we needed it…best charter ever! Thanks again Steve & Bonnie..

PS We miss Sailor dog every minute and hope you are sneaking treats to her in our absence!!

Yes, Holly and Joe were fabulous. They had clearly paid attention to our preference sheet and were very attentive to our requests and any changes we had.

Yes indeed. Holly was a fabulous chef!

Holly and Joe were friendly, inspired great confidence and made our vacation all we hoped for. We were eager to learn about sailing in the VI. Holly and Joe were very patient with all our questions and provided great tips and insight into the possibility of bareboating. If we decide to go with a crew again - Knot 5280 would be our choice.
