Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
Synergy was meticulously clean and extremely comfortable with many areas to lounge around for our group of 8.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Each room had individually controlled central air and also had a fan on the wall for those who preferred the natural air flow.
Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
Jacob and Alex were outstanding. They were very friendly and easy to be around and have a very welcoming demeanor. We truly could not have asked for a better crew.
Was the food good and well presented?
The food exceeded all expectations. Meals were hearty portions, well varied and delicious. Alex made just about everything from scratch right down to the pesto sauces. We were quite spoiled with the meals and may find it difficult to charter with anyone else doing the cooking other than Alex:)
8. Additional comments about the yacht and crew?
Synergy is a fairly new catamaran and is in pristine condition. The layout was perfect for our group of 8. This was an important criteria for us when we were researching the available catamarans. There were several areas for everyone to congregate as a group to dine and play games and plenty of space for those wanting to escape for some quiet time to read or nap.The vast number of areas to comfortably lounge truly helped in our overall assessment of Synergy.

The crew was truly exceptional. We can not say enough compliments about them. First and foremost, they are extremely professional and take their jobs very seriously. Their guests happiness and safety are their main priority. They were very knowledgeable and we loved learning from them. They were fun and easy to be around.

Charter Company & Yacht

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
YES..Office and dock personnel were very friendly and helpful. especially w loading groceries, topping off fuel and water.
Did the staff do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
videos were helpful and confirmed what we already knew about 44' cats. Been to vvi 7 times so we knew the waters.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
yes....very clean. looked like it was only a fairly new.

Almost everything worked perfectly....except for

1. Sliding glass door to salon was difficult to open/close. I spoke to maintenance MGR. at the end of the charter. Probably needed a new bottom wheel. Not a big deal.

2. Main halyard frayed near top of mast on day 9. Could not lower mainsail. Called office.They had riggers meet us at Cooper island, our evening destination. Replacement took an hour. Very nice / knowledgeable. done by 5 pm.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes. Never once thought..."Gee, I wish I had a ............."
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Never opened the hatches. The salon was open a few times but the a/c was on whenever we were on a ball. And it worked like a champ.
Additional comments about the charter company and yacht you chartered?
BVI YC did exactly what they were supposed to do. No complaints.

Was a little surprised by the price difference for diesel between bviyc and Cane Garden. Had I known that BVI YC price was close to $7.50/ gal, I would have filled up at CGB at $ 5.50.

Apparently we do. This is our 7th charter in the last 10 years...and probably the best.

Kudos to Joanne Higgins. She gave us 4 good options and we chose a winner.

Very comfortable and clean. Exceeded our expectations.

The food was very good and the presentation was incredible
8. Additional comments about the yacht and crew?
Ether is brand new and is fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable with very nice linens and modern bathrooms. Individual yeti cups for everyone in our group. We loved the cooler of fresh, filtered water each day. Every type of mixer and alcohol we could want for making drinks. Ben, our captain was also an excellent bartender who made perfectly balanced cocktails for us. Charlie is a very talented chef who prepared amazing meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We especially loved the beautiful charcuterie boards she would make for a late-afternoon snack. Perfect for when we were hungry coming back from snorkeling or diving. Lunch and dinner meals were perfectly paired with wines. Charlie is also a dive master and we felt very comfortable with her leading us on dives as beginner divers.
Ben is a very calm and capable captain. We felt very safe with him and he was very friendly and easy to talk to.

Yes. We did just what we wanted to do - circumnavigate Martinique - experienced a wide range of sailing conditions and enjoyed it thoroughly. Petr and Tracy were both eager to make the trip a success for us.

Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
I will never be able to say enough good things about our experience. Ever.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
The yacht was more than comfortable temperature wise, and airflow.
Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
The crew is what took this trip from wonderful to epic. I cried when I left. Literally. Olga & Dwayne took such good care of us and gave us the trip of a lifetime. I will never forget them, or the way they welcomed our family.
Was the food good and well presented?
I am a Chef and I documented everything Olga made. It was stunning. I was not only blown away by her presentation but also by the quality of her dishes. 12/10.

Just 10/10. I couldn't have dreamed of a better experience. I am afraid to go on another because this was just SO magical. Everything came together and we were given the trip of a lifetime and we will be forever grateful.

Arrived on a Sunday so was briefed by someone who was not all that familiar with the boat.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Had some issues getting power management set up correctly. Necessitated a couple of calls and visits by mechanic/technician
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes

There was no microwave on board.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes but...

Fairly strong odor of adhesives in forward port cabin
