Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
Our yacht was absolutely amazing. Clean, comfortable, spacious. We couldn’t have asked for a better boat.
Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes- it was ventilated and had great AC
Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
The crew was top notch. The captain and first mate did everything to make us have a perfect week. The chef cooked incredible meals and was so friendly.
Was the food good and well presented?
The food was out of this world. Not one bad meal and plenty of food. It was a great variety too!

Jeff and Dani were amazing!

The food was outstanding. We loved the healthy and fresh options Dani provided.

Dani and Jeff were the perfect crew and the getalong was quite comfortable. We loved lounging about in the covered upper flyboard which was shaded and breezy and provided perfect vantage point for taking everything in on our sails.

Jeff took us to some fantastic snorkeling spots and the perfect out of the way bays for the night.
Jeff and Dani were great hosts and could tell when we wanted to socialize and when we wanted to chill and relax without saying a word. We all feel like we hit the jackpot with this PERFECT crew.

Upon arrival and during your charter, were the staff of the charter company friendly and accommodating?
Very friendly

Excellent job. Royce was amazing.
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
It was clean and everything was working by the time we left the dock. The yacht is worn, which was reflected in the price. I'm good with saving $6000 for a little wear.
Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
We were charged an extra $225 for having 3 people above 8 on the yacht. We had 7 forks. There were also an insufficient number of storage containers on the boat for left overs. We bought a huge, plastic cotainer of saltine crackers, which had smaller packets of crackers inside. We emptied it and used it for food prep and for left overs. We would have been in trouble without it. There were also not enough drinking glasses on board.

I was surprised fuel was not included in the price.

Yes, they quickly fixed the smell in our room when we alerted them
Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
Yes, Bubba and Heather were so friendly, accommodating, and energetic! Heather did a great job with the cooking, beautiful plating, try double boiling creme brulee on a rocking boat! They were up for any adventure, or even simple stuff like doing a puzzle, made us feel like they really enjoyed being with us!

We were their first guests on the Tortuga, they took us on one day notice when our original boat had to go for repairs. They hadn't gotten everything on the boat 100% the way they wanted it before we came on, but it was great for us!

Yes, instagram worthy! And restaurant quality fixed in a boat kitchen.

Every time you plan a trip, you want it to be perfect and some end up being better than others, but never perfect. We can sincerely say that our week aboard the Abundance was truly PERFECT and the best trip we have ever been on. EVER!

Captain Blaine knew every nook and cranny of the islands. The boat was impeccable and nothing compares to the moment you kill the engines and realize the serenity of wind taking you to your next stop. Coves that were crystal blue and the views that got better and better around every point you sailed. The diving was unbelievable - both by day and by night.

Our chef created meals that would rival any restaurant. ANY!
Back to back to back. Meals that were made from the heart, not selected off a menu. The hardest question Captain Blain asked the entire week was which meal we liked the most.

This trip was to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and it truly was the PERFECT way to mark the milestone. However, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, that we will not wait another 20 years to return to the Abundance.
