1. Were the staff at Navigare friendly and accommodating?
There were no Navigare staff present. The cyoa were nice when they showed up.

2. Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Clean yes, but we ran out of water completely the first night. Air conditioning only worked when not on in cabins and salon at same time.

3. Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes

4. Was the boat well ventilated?
Yes, only with a.c. there were not many windows

5. Did the staff at Navigare do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
We were quite disorientewhen no one greeted us upon arrival, we felt nervous.. Second day briefing person from Cyoa gave us a bit of overview, but it didn't seem he had a list of points to cover. Just told us answers to our questions. He said the boat was hard to sail, difficult to access main if sail tangled. We had to think of all questions and concerns. Its preferable that briefer knows in advance just what a charterer should learn.

Yes

7. Could we at Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd. have helped you further in any way?
Yes, by having a representative present to address issues like no water.

In light of global warming, you could consider having four stroke outboard on the dinghy. It smelled bad for us too.

Yes.

2. Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
It was reasonably clean. There were some maintenance problems with the boat.

3. Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes.

4. Was the boat well ventilated?
Yes, the Bali design allows for excellent ventilation in the main salon. Boat also had AC.

5. Did the staff at Dream Yacht Charters do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Overall a pretty good job, but there were dome details that they were not familiar with.

6. Did you like the area you cruised?
Yes, but since we were limited to St. Martin and St. Barts a 10 or 11 day trip would have been sufficient.

7. Could we at Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd. have helped you further in any way?
Dream claimed they did not receive the crew list from VI Sailing. I was able to locate a copy on the web.

Very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. This was the best charter company experience I have ever had.

2. Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yes! The yacht was in excellent condition and exceeded our expectations

3. Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes. Great galley

4. Was the boat well ventilated?
Absolutely be best ventilated catamaran I have charted. Each cabin maintained good air flow allowing for a comfortable sleep.

5. Did the staff at The Moorings do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
Yes. Fred at The Moorings did my briefing and was super! He not only was thorough, but also gave us some great tips and suggestions regarding local places to see.

6. Did you like the area you cruised?
Yes, Loved the area. Best cruise yet!

7. Could we at Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd. have helped you further in any way?
Not really, but I did notice VI Sailing did not have much info available for French Polynesia. Everything is geared for the Caribbean.

We had the best vacation ever. The boat was awesome and exceeded our expectations. The food and provisioning was great. The weather was great. French Polynesia is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. We are definitely coming back.

1. Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
i don't know where to start with the praise. there wasn't a moment all week that capt sergio and neen weren't happy, sweet, helpful, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to be with

2. Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
yes, very clean and comfortable especially for our master cabin. the guest heads were a little tight but that's boating life. everything was very well organized and easily accessible

3. Was the yacht well ventilated?
yes

4. Was the food good and well presented?
have you seen Neen's magic. we told her she needs to do a cookbook. we have traveled a lot and love exotic spicy food from around the world. she knocked it out of the ballpark. every single meal was an artistic perfection visually and to our palette. honestly couldn't figure out how she could repeat that level of production for 3 meals a day all week. we were all blown away

5. Did you like the area you sailed?
we did, st john's water gorgeous water and lots of wind

i dont think so, there was a lot of communication and info and we felt well prepared. the crew had a good handle on our preferences.

i want to emphasize that this crew are two of the kindest people on the planet. Capt Sergio is a great sailor and had lots of fun tips, local facts, adventures, and water equipment to keep us entertained and busy all week. the sea scooter was a huge hit!!! Neen has a true gift as a chef, she pours her heart and soul into every meal and its presentation. we really weren't counting on that and were blown away at each delicious and healthy meal. to satisfy 8 palettes is a feat in and of itself, she did it. our son commented that this may be the first vacation he didn't gain weight and ate amazing food 3 meals a day. we had incredible cocktails and apps as well. Sergio and Neen were also such a pleasure to hang out with, we all said we have to sail with them again!

Now!!! Book this boat and crew now! You won't be sorry! On a scale of 1-10, (10 being the best) Capt. Blaine and his First Mate / Chef Carolina scored a 14!! The boat is very nice, clean and comfortable. The food was exceptional - tasty, healthy (not counting the wonderful desserts 🙂 and well presented. Capt. Blaine is a well credentialed First Class sailor, a thoroughly nice fellow, and knew all the best spots for diving, snorkeling and other attractions. What made this trip really special was the how much he clearly enjoyed his "work". (Quotes added for irony.) Sailing with Blaine and Carolina (Cat) was like adding a third fun couple to our group. Great folks, and a wonderful time.

It was an amazing vacation. Shaka was key in making this a perfect vacation. He advised us on the best places to go, he gave us contacts in all the islands for dinner, lobsters, scooters, etc, he arranged our Taxis, he helped us with the Covid protocols, he entertained us with his sailing stories, and he mentored Bradley who was the captain on the other Catamaran. It was a wonderful vacation! I was pleasantly surprised that the beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked really well which is very important after a full day of sun. We went to great spots in Virgen Gorda, Tortola, Norman Island, Peter island, Jost Van Dyke and Anegada. The weather and the ocean were perfect.
