Five Stars (as my kids would say)!!!!!! Rob and Doris were simply awesome. This was my first trip so I really didn't know what to expect. The catamaran was awesome and extremely comfortable. Rob really knew his craft and was willing to share it with everyone on the boat. He also knew the area extremely well and everyone in it. When we went to dinner, we were greeted by the owners of each restaurant and treated like royalty. Doris made us feel at home and totally catered to our needs individually. She cooked some great meals and jumped in the water like the rest of us!! I will use these guys the next time I come down. If I have to wait for their boat to open, I will wait for them!

1. Were the staff at Dream Yacht Charters friendly and accommodating?
Yes, they went above and beyond to make our arrival and departure easy.
2. Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Partially. It was clean but missing some essential equipment that we had to request or put together on our charter (Throwable and anchor snub). Some of the kitchen cabinet latches did not hold when boat heeled and we had drawers flying everywhere resulting in broken glass.
3. Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
No. All the glasses were tiny, had to request a broom and dustpan, no bowls, lighter that didn’t work.
4. Was the boat well ventilated?
Yes
5. Did the staff at Dream Yacht Charters do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment?
They were not familiar with boat and insisted the boat only had one water tank when we asked how to switch them. We had to figure it out while on the water after running out of water on third day.
6. Did you like the area you cruised?
Too shallow and too much wind to enjoy this trip. Very few anchorages with north and NW big wind.
7. Could we at Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd. have helped you further in any way?
Boat only had European outlets and no adapter provided,

I was disappointed that a 2020 boat was not in better condition. We have done four Charters this year. I paid extra for a newer boat but it was not in good enough condition to have warranted it.

Totally awesome staff. Best staff we have ever worked with picking up a boat.

Everything was perfect on the boat.

Yes. Only thing missing was white ice chest, which once I requested, they ran and got within minutes.
4. Was the boat well ventilated?

Extremely. Knew the answer to every questions we had.
6. Did you like the area you cruised?
Yes, has now become our favorite that we have visited.

Please request Mooring to keep St Thomas as a option of a charter. We will choose St Thomas over BVI for now on.

So So , boat has seen its wear is use , the Jib furling and rigging was not working like it should, the anchor light never worked we had to use the steaming light.

The Dufour 382 was bare bones as far as no deck or cock pit lights Challenging waters to navigate , very shallow and no markers at anchorages.

This was our first charter and we didn't really know what to expect. We can say it exceeded our expectations. The boat was amazing and the crew was exceptional in every respect. They were so kind to our kids and made them feel very special - teaching them knots, pulling them on the tube, answering a million questions about the meals and how they were prepared, etc.

Given when we tried to make this trip (middle of a pandemic) it couldn't have gone better. The team at VI have all been great to work with, in particular Joann. Nothing has been too much trouble and you've helped us very well through two re-bookings to our ultimate trip as we worked to find a location and date we could get to against the COVID backdrop. It was our first charter and the whole process with VI sailing has been smooth, easy and well supported throughout. The end result was a fantastic, safe and very enjoyable family vacation and the start of many more sailing trips I'm sure. Thank you!
